I stayed here for a couple weeks when I came to Gunnison for a new job. The owner and staff were awesome! Comfortable room at a good price. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that comes to town.
Very surprised. This was an old school hotel and we didn’t expect much. We we’re just passing through traveling back to Golden. WOW. This place was spotless. Like old but perfect. Everything was like brand new (1960’s new but new). I would difenetly recommend this place for people passing through. The management seems to be Old World (Europe) so that explains the cleanness. The price was reasonable and we felt safe.
The best part of this Motel is the ease of access. The remodeled room was perfect for me and my dog. My dog has her own bed being there where two queen beds in the room. Haha - Was quite and just simply cool. Close to a lot of amazing places. Gunnison is a cool town itself. Have fun and Safe Travels Everyone and Enjoy Colorado Responsibly.
This was a great hotel! I booked it based on its reviews from others, which there were only 2 so I was taking a chance but the pictures looked like they had recently remodeled so I took a chance and was not disappointed. We were traveling through Gunnison and then heading up to hike and camp at Lampier Lake and had decided to stay one more night. I was able to contact the owner and stay in the same room another night. It was easy, clean and close to everything.
Nice, clean room in a basic motel. Nothing fancy, but we had a TV, coffee maker, small microwave, and mini fridge in our room. They have a hot tub for guests, but we didn't have time to use it. Front desk employee was very helpful as far as routes to ride for sightseeing. She also made our stay much better with restaurant recommendations for our group of 16 people on 9 motorcycles, plus 4 in a vehicle. We will definitely stray here again off we're in the area, and would recommend this motel to any of our friends.
Great location. Fair prices. Smoking rooms available if desired. Rooms are a decent size, and somewhat modern in appearance. Flat panel TV with some HD channels. Usable WiFi. Comfortable bed. Simple breakfast. Really nice staff.
Great little place to stay while traveling through on the way to Black Canyon. Clean rooms with relatively good amenities right along the highway! Breakfast consists of dry cereal and some danishes, unless the bikers eat it all before you get to it.
Great motel experience! The husband and wife owners are very personable and helpful. The rooms are clean and very well maintained and reasonably priced. Our Corvette club stays here every year during the annual Cool Mountains Cool Cars car show. Highly Recommended!
